I Think I Lost My Touch......:(

Hi, I'm back. Oh, 1 thing that I didn't mention.....Danny Jones kicked Kennedale's BUTT! The score was 20-8. We also creamed Midlothian this last Monday(I don't know the score, I couldn't go since the game was in Midlothian :( ) 2nd, after this next week, I will be getting my 1st report card of the year, so I'm sort of excited/nervous about that. Well, the point of posting an entry today is that I finally finished writing "Tech Girl"! It took a VERY long time to write because unlike "Lullaby", I didn't really have anything to base it on; I just wanted to write another song, so I picked a topic(a girl gamaholic...is that even a word, gamaholic?)& tried to write a song on that topic. I had to revise the lyrics A LOT(there is 1 line in the 1st verse that is still in development because it sounds very stupid right now)! Well, here is what I have of "Tech Girl" as of now:

Sigh.....I think I lost my touch with writing songs(& this is only my 2nd song!!!). Writing songs is very hard & long. Oh, 1 thing with my friend Lauren(I actually find this very funny)! She's turning 12 in 4 weeks(October 21st), & she's super excited about it, because while I was the 1st new Beehive(being the oldest girl), Lauren is the last new Beehive of the year, because she's the youngest girl! But, what's really funny(to me, not to her)is that she's traumatized about her 1st Mutual activity: swing-dancing with the deacons! Actually, we've done this before(it was my 1st Mutual activity, & strangely, it was on my 12th b-day, because my b-day was on a Wednesday! LOL!), & it was totally fun! She's traumatized because she's paranoid that 1 of the immature guys in our class(all of them are deacons now, except for this 1 guy who's 3 days younger than Lauren)will ask her to dance. It's the typical "ew, boy germs!" thing, so I find it hilarious. Well, I should probably go now. I'm Out!

Alrighty, 1st order of business......I hope whoever reads this on a regular basis has noticed that I finally got an avatar! Ok, I gotta work quick because I'm going to a school football game in 4 minutes. Today was a good day. I learned ONE thing: which guys are on the football team, & which guys aren't, because all the football guys(even Jake)were in button-down shirts today. It was kinda funny, actually. I'm like,"Uhh, Jake? Why are you dressed like you're going to church?" I was totally clueless. Well, gotta go to the game! Go Danny Jones!! Rah Rah Ree, Kick Them In The....Oh, Never Mind. LOL! I'm Siiiingin' In The Rain.........

Hi, Savy's back, after about 3 insanely hard weeks of school. That's actually the reason why I haven't posted an entry on here for so long: because I've been busy every single day(minus no-school days)!!! Here's a typical school day for me: Wake up @ 7 a.m., get ready(wash my face, put in my contacts, get dressed, etc.), be downstairs by 7:45 or 8(depends on whether I woke up to my alarm or not), eat breakfast & watch TV while my mom goes with Sydney & Jake to the bus stop. @ about 8 or 8:10, my mom does my hair & makeup, & I go to school. 1st period starts @ 8:45(TX History or Language Exploration), ends @ 10:10, then I go to "Advisory/D.O.G. Time"(free period/study hall, they just call it D.O.G. Time because our mascot is the Bulldog)until about 11, then I go to 2nd period(English), I have lunch @ noon, then 2nd period continues after lunch until 1, then I have 3rd period(Gym or Math)until 2:30, then I have 4th period(Choir or Science)until the end of the day, which is @ 4. I go home, have about 30 min. of free time or homework time until I have to get ready for swim practice. I start swim practice @ 5:15, end @ 6:30, come home, take a shower, eat dinner, & then have free time or finish homework, then go to bed @ 9:15(or later, depends on whether I have a lot of homework or not). & there you have it: a typical day for me. On Wednesdays, though, I usually skip practice to go to Mutual(Young Women)@ 7, ends @ 8:30. Well, the only bad thing is that it's raining. A LOT. It's because of Hurricane Ike in Houston & Galveston. I'm really worried because my Aunt Karen & Uncle Mark & my cousins Faith & Cole live in Houston. I don't want the hurricane to hit them. Well, I should probably get off now. My family & I are going to Chick-Fil-A, then when I come home, I need to finish my math homework that's due on Monday, & I'm going to do the extra credit work to turn in for my math test on Monday, so I can get the best grade possible. Progress reports are going to come out this coming week, too, school pictures are on Tuesday, & I'm going to join church choir starting Sunday. L8rs!
